Good to know
Are your Home Partners insured and background-checked?
Yes. Every Home Partner is background-checked, trained, and fully insured. You're trusting someone with your home, and we never take that lightly.
Can I set this up for my parents' home?
Absolutely! In fact, this is the vantage point from which the idea of Ever Home first started: adult children helping their parents remain in the home they've come to know and love. You can arrange and manage everything from anywhere, and we'll send reports straight to you while we care for their home.
Do I need to be home for visits?
No, but visits are certainly made more personal, and sometimes more informative when owners are present. We arrange secure access ahead of time and document every visit with photos, so present or not, owners know what's going on, and what's being done.
How does billing work?
Plans are billed monthly. Our "On Demand" package requires a one time setup fee with all subsequent work billed on an "ala carte" basis. You can change or cancel your plan anytime — no long term contracts with any of our plans (On Demand, Standard, or Premium).
What if something needs a specialist or licensed contractor?
We coordinate and oversee trusted local vendors — plumbers, electricians, HVAC — so you have one point of contact and one team making sure the work gets done right.
The term "certified" is used in regards to your Home Partners. Is there really a formal certification for this type of work?
No, there is no formal certification for the work that Ever Home performs, so we spent the time and effort to build our own training program. This extensive training emphasizes the idea of the home as a "system" and ensures Home Partners understand how all parts of the system interact with each other and how we can better keep home owners and their families on top of potential issues.
Do Ever Home Partners provide medical assistance to home owners?
No; we have way too much respect for medical professionals and all the experience they bring to "in home" health care to ever claim any sort of expertise within this arena. Our Home Partners should never be looked upon as a substitute for qualified health care professionals, nor will they ever present themselves as such.
